We’ll also have a group of select manufacturers (including AMX, Christie, Cisco, Crestron, NEC, Polycom, and SMART) demonstrating their latest technology… designed to help you increase productivity and maximize collaboration!
TRAVEL WITH YOUR TI PASSPORT...
You'll receive a very special passport that day... if you get all your locations stamped, you’ll be entered into our GRAND PRIZE DRAWING for a 55 ” NEC LCD DISPLAY (compliments of TI and NEC).
If that’s not enough, we’ll be setting up a delicious luncheon from Low Country Barbecue… so be prepared to satisfy your appetites for both technology and Southern cuisine that day.

APRIL/MAY 2011 - PREPARING FOR THE DIGITAL SUNRISE and NEW TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE

PREPARING FOR THE DIGITAL SUNRISE (10:00AM - 11:30AM in Nashville, Memphis, and Atlanta; 10:00AM - 11:30AM or 1:00PM - 2:30PM in Charlotte and Raleigh): There's no question that the digital age is here today. Analog television has gone off the air; some computers provide only Display Port outputs; many new laptops feature built-in Blu-ray players; the new Intel chips require EDID data from the display; and the latest video conferencing systems have HDMI/DVI outputs. Technical Innovation and Crestron Digital Media are proud to present the second seminar in the series, "PREPARING FOR THE DIGITAL SUNRISE," a 90-minute presentation on the challenges that we're facing, and the solutions available today.
COMPLIMENTARY LUNCHEON (Noon - 1:00PM): A complimentary buffet luncheon for all attendees will be served.

Following up on our successful events of last year, we scheduled FRESH IDEAS events in four of our regional offices. In conjunction with Infocomm's AV Week, we offered a series of five AIA- and IIDA-certified seminars for the architect and design community. Also, in our Memphis and Nashville locations, we brought in a number of vendors who displayed the latest in audio-video, telepresence, streaming, and collaborative communications technologies.

Rocco Baldelli's single drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning for the hometown Durham Bulls, sending all of the attendees of the Technical Innovation Customer Appreciation Day home happy. It was a beautiful day at the ballpark, and even if the Bulls hadn't prevailed, a fabulous time would have been had by all. Our thanks to all who came out to cheer the local team and relax in the late-spring sunshine. Take a look at a few pictures from the event...
